Dr. Buzz’s Biography
Dr. Buzz is a native of Mount Holly, New Jersey where he graduated from Rancocas Valley Regional High School. Dr. Buzz graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BA and MA in psychology. Buzz has a Ph.D. in Education, is an Educational and Behavioral Consultant, a New Jersey Certified School Social Worker, a Nationally Certified Crisis Prevention Instructor, Certified Forensic Counselor by the American Board of Forensic Examiners, a Professional Development Provider for the State of New Jersey, and a qualified expert witness for the Burlington County Superior Court system.
Published Works
Dr. Buzz is the author of two published books: Decisions…Decisions and The Adventures of Buzz the Bookworm. Both books are intended to improve the decision-making skills, social skill development, and personal management tools for children and adolescents. Dr. Buzz has also authored and published his newly designed Homework Planner, Learning to Make a Difference, utilized for better organizational skills and homework completion. Lastly, he is the co-author of his latest release, Parent Menu, A Step By Step Guide To Help Those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The book is co-authored by Leon I. Rosenberg, M.D., psychiatrist, a Harvard University Graduate, and Medical Director of the Center for Emotional Fitness. The Parent Menu provides a step by step process of how to efficiently support individuals with ADHD and develop compensatory tools for each subject to cope with his/her personal weaknesses. Lastly, Dr. Buzz and Dr. Rosenberg completed Volume I of the S.W.A.T. T.E.A.M. (School Wide Acquired Tools for Teacher Education Accountability and Management). This book provides teachers, parents, and all school personnel with the necessary tools for managing students with behavioral, learning and emotional challenges, school wide.
